Introduction

Derry Raghan Lodge is a friendly, family-run hotel, ideally located for a stay in the historic city of Chester.

We are located on Hoole Road approximately 15 minutes walk from Chester train station and Chester city centre. Just a few minutes away is Faulkner Street, the main shopping street in Hoole which is home to cafe bars, shops, a post office and other traders.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• If you are travelling by car you will be pleased to know that we can guarantee a private parking space in the hotel car park for all guests. In addition if you are using one of our courtyard rooms then parking is provided directly outside your room.

• The front car park has a tarmac surface and the rear car park near the courtyard rooms is graveled.

Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area

• There are two small steps into the main house.

Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc

• There is no lift on the premises, so wheelchair access is limited to ground floor and courtyard rooms only.

Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc

• The dining room in the main house can also be accessed by wheelchair via the front door

Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas

• Ground floor bedrooms in the main house can also be accessed by wheelchair via the front door .

• All courtyard rooms can be accessed by wheelchair directly from the car park. Each entrance has just a very shallow step.

• If you have any special needs or disabilities, please advise us beforehand so that we can advise on the suitability of specific rooms.

• There is a no smoking policy on these premises.

• Wireless internet access is provided free of charge.

• All fire escapes are clearly marked.
